1     Water Apple Fruit                                                           
       Water Apple - scientific name - syzygium aqueum 


     Water apple is usually an evergreen shrub or small tree with a small crown; it usually grows 6 - 10 metres tall, sometimes up to 15 metres. similar to both the java apple and wax jambu. Other name - Rose apple.
     This fruits are rich in vitamin C, dietary fiber, vitamin A, calcium, thiamin, niacin, iron, sulfur, and potassium. In terms of organic compounds, Water Apples contain jambosine, betulinic acid, and friedelolactone.
      Some health benefits - control diabetes, aid digestion, prevent cancer, reduce toxicity, cholesterol and heart health, boost immunity.

2    Water Lemon Fruit                                                     
      Water Lemon - passiflora laurifolia  

      Water Lemon is a tall, evergreen climbing shrub producing stems up to 10 to15 metres long. These stems can scramble over the ground or clamber into other plants, supporting themselves by means of coiling tendrils.  The edible fruit is greatly appreciated. The plant is widely cultivated, both as an ornamental and sometimes for its edible fruit. Fruit – eat raw or made into a refreshing drink.
    This fruit is a medium sized, ovaloid fruit, usually with a deep orange skin and white-yellow, extremely juicy pulp. The water lemon has an excellent perfumy-mild taste, without the tartness of the common passion fruit. It is eaten fresh or used in drinks. Other names bell apple, yellow granadilla or golden apple.
      The yellow fruit, which outwardly resembles a lemon in shape and size, contains sweet, high-quality pulp. The water lemon has an excellent mild, perfumed taste. The pulp, which is of a delicious, slightly acid flavour, is so watery that is usually sucked through a hole in the rind.

3     Watermelon Fruit                                                     
       Watermelon - citrullus lanatus

       The watermelon is a large fruit, up to 25cm of diameter, in some cases weighing up to 15kg. It has an oval or spherical shape and a dark green and smooth rind, sometimes showing irregular areas of a pale green colour. It has a sweet, juicy, refreshing flesh of yellowish or reddish colour, containing multiple black, brown or white seeds. 
      This is a plant species in the family Cucurbitaceae, a vine-like flowering plant originally domesticated in West Africa. It is a highly cultivated fruit worldwide, having more than 800 varieties.  This fruit is a sweet and refreshing low calorie summer snack. It provides hydration and also essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.  
       They are the second-largest fruit in the world.   This edible fruit contains 90% water. About 6% of a watermelon is sugar, which makes it very sweet. There are many different types of watermelon. Some have a green rind on the outside and a red-pink flesh on the inside, with brown seeds. Some can have yellow and orange coloured flesh, and some can be seedless.
        Watermelon extracts reduced blood pressure in and around the ankles of middle-aged people with obesity and early hypertension. The L-citrulline and L-arginine — two of the antioxidants in watermelon — may improve the function of the arteries.  Lycopene — another antioxidant in watermelon — may help protect against heart disease. It might do this by reducing inflammation linked with high-density lipoprotein (HDL) or “good” cholesterol.

It was a long time that I have been thinking on this topic but I couldn’t satiate my quench for knowledge through any post that I read. However, today that I came across your article, I seem to have learnt a lot and I have also gained enough knowledge on this topic. Thanks once again.
