Gac fruit (momordica cochinchinensis)
Gac fruits is the size of a small melon and grows on climbing vines than can reach 6 meters long. The fruit has unique appearance and packed with a lot of vitamins and minerals, so this fruit is also known as fruit from heaven. Other names are Baby Jackfruit, Spiny Bitter Gourd, Sweet Gourdand, Cochinchin Gourd, is a bright orange spikey fruit found in Southeast Asia.
The fruits first appear green, but later ripen to a dark orange colour and have a rounded oblong shape approximately 13 cm in length and 10 cm in diameter. The coarse rind has a spiny exterior that covers a layer of light orange spongy flesh called the mesocarp, which is usually discarded. The inner core is packed with edible, magenta-red oily sacs that are very mild in taste. They have a moderate sweetness some may compare to the fresh fruitiness of a cucumber or melon.
The flesh is very juicy with bright red color while the skin is bright orange with spiky texture similar to jackfruit . That’s why gac fruit is also best known as baby jackfruit in English.

2 Galumpi Fruit
Galumpi Fruit (clausena lansium)
The Galumpi is cultivated for its fruit, which looks like a grape. The tree is popular in China, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Less frequently, it is grown in India, Sri Lanka, and Queensland. Occasionally, it is cultivated even in Florida and Hawaii. This fruit is called as Chinese Chicken Hearts fruit and also known as wampee or wampi.
Galumpi are mostly sour mixed with a bit of sweetness. The texture is gelatinous like a grape, fleshy and juicy: expect sticky fingers when eating. The taste bears resemblance to its citrus relatives: tart, tangy, with a bit of a metallic chemical bite as an aftertaste. The sweetness hiding in Galumpi amidst the overwhelming sour notes has similarities to peaches and pineapple.

3 Guanabana Fruit
GuanĂ¡bana is the fruit of the annona muricata
GuanĂ¡banas are members of the family annonaceae, along with the wonderful tropical fruits variously known as custard apple, sweetsop, sugar apple, graviola, cherimoya, soursop and Brazilian paw paw -- all of the genus annona. The family is closely related to the North's Magnolia Family.
The Guanabana is a large, crooked heart-shaped fruit with small spike like protrusions. The skin is dark green and turns slightly yellowish green when ripe. When ready to eat the fruit is very soft to the touch, and begins to break down quickly. The white flesh is custard like and sweet; the juicy, segmented pulp contains large black seeds.
This evergreen tree is known for its health benefits, which may include reducing inflammation, improving the immune system and healing stomach issues. It serves a dietary supplement and used to treat many conditions.
Guanabana can be used to fight against bacterial and fungal infections. It is said to be effective at lowering high blood pressure and aiding in depression, stress and nervous disorders. Tea made from the leaves of the guanabana tree is used as a sleep aid in Trinidad. The seeds are some toxic and should be removed before ingesting the pulp or before juicing.
Guanabana is promoted as an alternative cancer treatment. There is not enough reliable evidence that guanabana works as a treatment for cancer. In laboratory studies, guanabana extracts can kill some types of liver and breast cancer cells. These cells are resistant to some chemotherapy drugs. A more recent study showed that guanabana pulp extract has an effect on prostate cancer cells in mice. But there have not been any studies in humans. So we don't know whether it can work as a cancer treatment or not.

5 Gold Nugget Mandarin
‘Gold Nugget’ Mandarin is consistently seedless in mixed plantings with a wide variety of other citrus cultivars, including mandarins, pummelos, and oranges. The fruit has a rich, sweet taste and bright orange rind at maturity. The fruit are slightly flat, about 2 inches high and 2.5 inches in diameter, and weigh 2.5 to 5.3 ounces.
Younger trees tend to have larger fruit than older trees, but it is likely that the size of fruit on older trees can be increased by pruning or thinning. The rind is of medium thickness, about 4 to 5 millimeters. The fruit peels fairly easy. The tree is a medium size and moderately vigorous (4 to 5 year old trees are about 8 feet tall) with a fairly upright shape. Like most mandarins, it is prone to alternate bearing.
The major advantage of ‘Gold Nugget’ over other cultivars is that it combines seed-lessness and excellent flavour with late maturity and the ability to hold well on the tree. No other commercial mandarin cultivar combines these attributes.

8 Goumi Fruit
Goumi - elaeagnus multiflora
Goumi scientifically known as elaeagnus multiflora are
the fruit of the deciduous to semi-evergreen shrub of the Elaeagnaceae family.
The Goumi plant is grown in some places for its edible fruit though
predominantly it is grown as an ornamental shrub. The plant is native to China,
Korea and Japan. It is also grown in various parts of North America and Europe.
This species has become naturalized in different regions of eastern United
States. Other names of the plant are
Gumi, Longipe bush, Natsu-gumi, Cherry Elaeagnus and Cherry silverberry.
The berries themselves are 1-2 cm wide, round and bright
red. The shrub flowers in the spring and the fruits ripen in high summer. Goumi
berries are best harvested by shaking the shrub and collecting the berries on a
sheet below. This can be hard on the plant, however, and you need to be careful
not to damage the tender young shoots. It helps to harvest the berries when
they are at their ripest – they should be a deep scarlet colour and not as
acidic in flavour. That being said, they are quite acidic even at their ripest,
which is why they’re often made into pies and jams.
